Ruchira joined Goldhart & Associates as a family lawyer in 2022. Ruchira holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honours Psychology and Arts and Business from the University of Waterloo and completed her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa.

Prior to being called to the Ontario bar in 2016, Ruchira articled with a boutique firm in Toronto providing legal services in family law and estate litigation. Following her articles, Ruchira enjoyed a significant amount of litigation experience working as a criminal defence lawyer in Toronto. Ruchira has represented clients at various levels of courts including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Since 2019, Ruchira has been exclusively practising family law. Her practice focuses on all areas of family law including property division, support, and parenting issues. Ruchira takes pride in advocating for her clients and is committed on achieving practical yet meaningful solutions for her clients.

Ruchira’s litigation experience is complimented by her client

centred approach, which allows her to effectively resolve matters both in and out of court. Ruchira also understands the importance of negotiating resolutions through Alternative Dispute Resolution when appropriate.
